IRONMAN WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP KONA, HAWAII 2025 🌺
What. A. Day.
I came in ready, but the road here was anything but smooth. The build-up had its bumps, doubts, and lessons — but standing on that start line in Kona made every moment worth it.
From the powerful waves in the 3.8km swim to the scorching heat and relentless wind on the bike and run… this island tests you in every possible way. But we women out there — we were warriors. 🩵 We fought, we suffered, we smiled, and we proved what resilience really looks like.
Kona is brutal. But it’s also magic. There’s something about this place that grabs your heart and never lets go. I’m already dreaming of coming back — stronger, wiser, and ready to keep chasing improvement year after year. 🌊🔥💨

🌺 The eve of a dream.
Today I rack my bike, rest my body, and fill my heart (and my plate 🍝). There’s nothing more to do — the work is done. Years of early mornings, long rides, and quiet determination have brought me here.
Tomorrow, I’ll stand on Dig Me Beach — the place every triathlete dreams of. Surrounded by 1,600 worlds best women from over 80 nations, ready to take on the Ironman World Championship. 🌍
When I first started this journey, I promised myself I wouldn’t stop until I reached this start line — until I looked out at that endless ocean in Kona, feeling the heartbeat of this race. Now that moment is here.
3.8 km swim. 180 km bike. 42.2 km run.
Every stroke, every pedal, every step — a celebration of what’s possible when you refuse to give up.
At 6:40 a.m. Hawaiian time (18:40 in Germany), I’ll take that first breath and go all in.
